Welcome to our community! We need your help to preserve the many unique features which make Banana Bay such a desirable place to visit. Please remember that our community is a residential & family friendly, designed for those who love quiet relaxation in a waterfront setting. You will see many signs that reflect our leisurely and family friendly lifestyle, which we ask you to respect while you are with us. We are requesting your utmost cooperation to keep everyone safe so that you enjoy your stay here.

COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • If you are a guest, long-term renter, or a short-term visitor, you can sign-up receive up-to-date on community activities and  to keep informed on all Banana Bay Community announcements and notifications.  




ACCESS

  • The main gate, the pool gates, and the pool house (work out room, sauna, showers) all require a KEY FOB. This is a little electronic device that you need to get from the person/company that you rented the unit from.


PARKING

  • Each home at Banana Bay has a driveway that is capable of parking two vehicles.  Some units within Banana Bay have a garage, which can possibly accommodate 1 additional vehicle. Visiting guests can park in front of the near pool either on Elysian or Valhalla.  Please be aware that during the Spring and Summer rental seasons the residential population of Banana Bay can sometimes double.  Extra parking during these times can be very difficult to find.  Absolutely no street parking will be allowed.  Blocking of driveways, fire lanes and dumpster areas will not be tolerated.  Vehicles will be towed  at the owners expense if illegally parked.  Overflow parking may be found on Tranquility Lane, which is located on the East side of the RV park, adjacent to the bridge.  (Parking in this area is not in anyway controlled nor approved by the Banana Bay Community. Parking on Tranquility Lane will be at the owners own risk.) Refer to the Parking page for more info on overflow parking & tow zones. 


BOATS / TRAILERS

  • No boats/jetskis and or trailers are allowed to be parked within the Banana Bay Community.  There is no boat launching, nor outdoor  trailer parking/storage within the  Banana Bay Community.  We suggest  Galvez Landing Public Boat Ramp, 5891 Galvez Road, across the Intracoastal waterway from Banana Bay.  The Banana Bay Covenants specifically state that “No trailer, mobile home, camper, motorbike, motorcycle, motor scooter, boat, boat trailer, house trailer, truck, tractor or commercial vehicle of any kind, or any other vehicle, machine, equipment or apparatus other than operating passenger automobiles and operating passenger vans (vans are limited to those that are no longer and no wider than American made family automobiles), shall be parked or stored in any driveway, on any Lot or on any of the Common Areas in the Subdivision except in an enclosed garage.”  Vehicles will be towed  at the owners expense if  illegally parked.No trailer, mobile home, camper, motorbike, motorcycle, motor scooter, boat, boat trailer, house trailer, truck, tractor or commercial vehicle of any kind, or any other vehicle, machine, equipment or apparatus other than operating passenger automobiles and operating passenger vans (vans are limited to those that are no longer and no wider than American made family automobiles), shall be parked or stored in any driveway, on any Lot or on any of the Common Areas in the Subdivision except in an enclosed garage. Vehicles will be towed  at the owners expense if illegally parked.


TRASH

  • Trash Centers are located at the Northeast & Southwest corners of the property. Please ensure your trash makes it in the dumpster and not set outside the dumpster or trash centers. 

  • Fish & seafood - please be courteous and double bag any seafood carcasses, left-overs. etc. In the hot summer months this really helps decrease the dumpster aroma.  


HOME APPEARANCE

  • Beach/pool toys and other personal affects should be properly stowed and not left out overnight/in common areas.

  • No loud music or offensive language/behavior in any common areas.

  • Be aware that these are town homes and are very close together; be considerate to your neighbors when enjoying the outdoor/patio areas. Be aware of your noise level. Banana Bay is not a resort, but a residential community and many owners live here year-round.


POOL, BEACH, & ALL COMMON-USE AREAS

  • Pets are NOT allowed on the beach (not even on a leash), on the pool deck, and certainly not in the pool. There is a pet friendly beach located at River Road Park: 14484 River Road, Perdido Key, FL 32507.

  • Pets must always be kept on a leash and you must always clean up after your pet. You will need to verify with the person/company you're renting from to ensure pets are allowed in their units. 

  • The pool opens at 7 am and closes at 10pm nightly. Pets of any kind are NOT allowed on the pool deck nor in the pool. 

  • ONLY Banana Bay residents & their guests are authorized to use our amenities.

  • Clean up after yourself in the pool & pool house areas and on the beach.

  • NO GLASS is permitted in the pool area.

  • Proper gym etiquette is expected (ex. Re-racking weights when finished/leave it in the condition in which you would like to find it).

  • No one under the age of 16 is permitted in the gym. No children are allowed at any time since it’s a gym, not a playground.


SAFETY & SECURITY

  • Part of the uniqueness of our community is that it was designed to be user-friendly to pedestrians and beach-goers, so please respect our 10 MPH speed limit and the rules which are posted in all common-use areas.

  • Doors to the pool house/gym should never be propped open.

  • Lock your vehicles and secure your personal belongings.

  • There are security cameras throughout the property and Banana Bay pays Escambia County Law Enforcement Officers to physically monitor the property for your safety and security during the busy seasons.


VIOLATION & FEES

  • Report any violations by contacting our property manager or using the Contact Us form

  • The first violation will result in a written notice. Additional violations will result in fines and/or liens on the owner's property. Reference the Violation Fact Sheet for more details.
